Just two friends with a passion for true crime and story telling! One night while sitting by a campfire we started talking about this shared interest and like magic the idea took on a life of it’s own. Now, together we step into the darkness and bring to light the truth hiding in the shadows.

Stephanie Fortner
Host of Crime & Conjure Podcast
My name is Stephanie Fortner but you can call me Steph!
I got hooked on murder mysteries when I was seven, the first time I cracked open a book by Mary Higgins Clark. She sparked a fascination in me that drove me to consume all crime content I could get my hands on. As an adult I discovered documentaries, true crime shows like Dateline and Forensic Files, and eventually Podcasts. Every new crime I discovered, I immediately started my own investigation. I needed answers to those elusive questions!
I honestly believe I missed my calling as an investigative reporter!
When it comes to the paranormal, I would call myself a realistic believer. I feel most sounds you hear in the dark have a practical explanation. However my husband and I have been amateur paranormal investigators for over 10 years and have caught some incredible evidence along the way! I believe aliens and ghosts are totally real, but I also believe in trust but verify.

Shambre Dastgheib
Host of Crime & Conjure Podcast
My name is Shambre Dastgheib also known as Sham!
For as long as I can remember I have always been intrigued with paranormal and true crime. The first movie that gave me chills was the Skeleton Key. I was around 15 years old when I became obsessed with The Jonbenet Ramsey story. On a side note I think it was totally the brother. I spent my teenage years into adulthood watching true crime documentaries to sleep.
Listening to podcast became part of my daily routine I’d listen to them all day long. I really enjoyed hearing stories be told by people that were just as into conducting a little investigating and the full story as me.
I’m excited to be a host of Crime and Conjure and I’m hoping to not only tell victims stories but learn from them.
