Conjure Tip of The Week
A GriGri is a traditional amulet originating in West Africa which is believed to protect the wearer from evil or bad luck. It consists of a small cloth bag, usually inscribed with word of protection from an ancestor and is filled with a number of small objects personal to the wearer and then sealed. It’s worn as a necklace or hung in a home. In America the practice that was brought over with West African slaves has been misunderstood and twisted into something to fear. But the GriGri was never something evil.
